Welcome to the Pool! ¡Bienvenidos!
Welcome to my family genealogy website! After years of being the unofficial family historian for one branch of my family and spending time researching the other branches along the way, I have been trying to find a way to share all that I have found with other members of my family without overwhelming them with the over 16,000 members of my online family tree. I also needed a way to share the collection of pictures that I have and to get some help identifying people that I do not know before they are forgotten.
This website will, hopefully, be the answer to both problems and more. To make things easier, I have divided the branches by my great grandparent pairs: Ballard-Kellam, Turner-Young, Ringgold-Jennings, and Butler-Pryor. If we are related, you should be able to identify with one of those branches. If you do not and/or need help, please send me a message. My husband's family is also included and based on his grandparents because they live WAY longer than the average person. Please note that since they are from Costa Rica, parts of the website will be in Spanish for his family. If you are interested in what it says, you can use Google translate or practice your Spanish. You may be surprised by how much you understand!
In order to access information on this site, you must register and be approved. When you register, please consider filling out your contact information for future family reunion opportunities, especially the Ballard-Kellam and Turner-Young branches. Please note that information about living people in the family trees have been redacted for privacy and security reasons.
Finally, if you have information that could be helpful to add to our family history or if you need help and/or have question about our family history, please send me a message via the website. Happy Exploring!
